Doodle Doings

Long time no post. These are some photoshop doodles that I did to generate ideas. Sometimes I'll place these ideas in larger compositions. Not really connected to anything that really exist but I enjoyed exploring the possibilities of lighting and shape.

Wow stunning work Aaron! I particularly love the art deco LA work you've done. If it's cool, I have a quick question on your methods. With the school interior piece you did, once you designed it and added a value pass to the drawin, how do you then apply the colour to create the final image? Do you use a bunch of layer styles, such as multiply, overlay, colour ect? I'm always keen to know other artists methods. Hope you don't mind me asking :)
Thanks! Can't wait for CWACOM 2!

Cool thumbs, dudE! though they look like graphite to me, but if that's a brush, then awesome! the bottom ones definitely seem digital and have a cool aesthetic to them as well!
